Matilde (Nadine Maziarz) Fingerstyle guitar is probably one of my favorite styles of playing, with my favorite artists being between Mike Dawes, the late Michael Hedges (R.I.P. Wizard), and my friend Stuart Masters. Hard to pick a favorite track, but I find I enjoy Mike Dawes’ original work the most (not that the covers aren’t original), as it’s here he is at his most creative in my opinion, especially percussively. (Also, that Tonewood amp 😉) Favorite track: 7. Overload.

ERA is the second full length release by UK fingerstyle guitarist Mike Dawes. ERA features 10 immaculately recorded solo guitar performances combining altered tunings, extended techniques, subtle effects and most importantly, evocative compositions and arrangements in Mike's distinctive style.

The album was released to critical acclaim in the guitar community in September 2017, and is now available for download via Mike's own Bandcamp store.
